Dian Hong black tea, also known as Yunnan black tea. The tea leaves of Dian Hong are grown around 1000 meters above sea level, and in the cold mountain temperatures allow the leaves grow slowly, acquiring a uniquely intense taste.
Small leaf and bud sets were hand-picked and expertly processed into this classic style of Dian Hong. It is meticulously processed by hand under the traditional processing techniques, and is then fully oxidized, or fermented.
