We are honoured to announce our recognition at this year's Toronto Tea Festival, where five of our premium loose-leaf teas received distinguished awards. The Toronto Tea Festival is one of the largest specialty tea festivals in Canada and attracts tea lovers and connoisseurs from across the country (even from the US). The accolades awarded reflect the integrity & commitment of each company to offer exceptional tea products. Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who participated in the Tea Taster competition!
First Place Winners - The Champions
1. Bi Luo Chun - Green Tea Category Champion
Our prized Bi Luo Chun ("green snail spring") carries a rich imperial heritage from the Qing dynasty. Crafted exclusively from spring tea buds and tiny leaves, this award-winning green tea offers a distinctive fruity and floral aroma, influenced by its unique cultivation among flowering fruit trees on lake islands.
2. Milk Oolong - Oolong Category Champion
Harvested from high-altitude Jin Xuan tea bushes in Taiwan's mountains, this celebrated oolong delivers an enchanting milk fragrance through careful light roasting. Its rolled leaves unfurl to reveal a smooth, mellow infusion with sweet cream and floral notes across multiple steepings. Milk Oolong has been a crowd favourite for years.
Distinguished Recognition

3. Tangerine Pu Erh - Second Place, Pu-erh Category
This innovative creation combines ripened pu-erh tea with natural citrus notes by aging the tea within orange peels. The result is a bright, dark red liquor offering a perfect harmony between citrus sweetness and classic pu erh depth. Tangerine Pu Erh is not only delicious but also very beautifully presented.
4. Bai Mu Dan - Second Place, White Tea Category
Our White Peony tea exemplifies the delicate art of white tea processing, combining both buds and fresh leaves for a richer flavour profile while maintaining the category's characteristic subtle elegance.
5. Tai Ping Hou Kui - Fourth Place, Green Tea Category
From the foothills of Huangshan, this distinctive green tea features uniquely pressed long leaves, offering a delicate symphony of nutty, grassy, and floral notes with a whisper of apricot in the finish. Tai Ping Hou Kui means "peaceful monkey leader" and looks as beautiful as it tastes.
