Grown mainly from the Okumidori and Yabukita cultivar, Tensei offers a silky-smooth and delicately grassy profile, balancing creamy richness with a refined, lingering finish. The lush tea fields of Kakegawa benefit from abundant morning mist and well-drained soils, fostering the development of deep, nuanced flavors. The result is an elegant matcha with a serene, uplifting character—true to its name, which signifies "a bright and clear sky after the rain.
