Come experience this SPRING season MATCHA OMAKASE at ICHA QUEEN LOCATION with Helen Kong, a tea practitioner, ceramic artist, and the owner of Secret Teatime. The tea will be served in her handmade teawares.  Sip tea as she talks about the relationship between tea, the vessels, and the experience. 

In this 1 hour omakase style tea experience you will taste 3 kinds of whisked tea. 

• a sample of KOICHA (濃茶 - thick tea) - a thick and rich way of making matcha 
• a serving of USUCHA (薄茶 - thin tea) - will be prepared in seasonal ceramic wares
• a sample of whisked POWDERED CHINESE WHITE TEA- Originally used in Song Dynasty DIANCHA (點茶), the predecessor of Japanese matcha. 

The tea will be paired with a mung bean cake and a selection of dried fruit snacks.
