Crafted from a blend of Yabukita and Okumidori cultivars, Suiu presents an elegant flavor with a deep, refined umami, complemented by a sweet, mellow aroma. The misty climate and fertile soil of Uji provide the ideal conditions for slow-growing tea leaves, enhancing their natural sweetness and depth.
The name Suiu (翠雨), meaning "emerald rain," reflects the tea’s smooth, velvety texture and refreshing vibrancy—like the gentle touch of rain on lush green leaves.
