AUTUMN MATCHA OMAKASE 🍵

A Special Tea Gathering at ICHA TEA Queen

Come experience this AUTUMN season MATCHA OMAKASE at ICHA QUEEN with Helen Kong, a tea practitioner, ceramic artist, and the owner of Secret Teatime.

For this special gathering, the tea will be served in Helen’s handmade teawares. Sip tea as she shares her thoughts on the relationship between tea, vessels, and the experience of drinking tea.

In this 1-hour omakase-style tea experience, you will taste three kinds of whisked tea:

KOICHA 濃茶 — Thick Tea
A rich and concentrated way of preparing matcha, offering a deeper and more intense tea experience.
USUCHA 薄茶 — Thin Tea
A lighter, delicate style of whisked matcha, prepared in seasonal ceramic wares.
WHISKED POWDERED CHINESE WHITE TEA
Inspired by the Diancha 點茶 tradition of the Song Dynasty, the historical predecessor of Japanese matcha culture.

The tea will be paired with a mung bean cake and a selection of dried fruit snacks.

A SPECIAL LAST GATHERING AT ICHA TEA QUEEN

After four and a half wonderful years, our Queen Street location will be closing its doors on October 18.

This Matcha Omakase will be our final tea event at ICHA Queen before we say goodbye to this space.

We would love for you to join us for one last tea moment here — to slow down, share a cup, and create one more beautiful memory together before this chapter comes to an end.

Limited seats are available for this intimate tea gathering.
