Bulang mountains situate in the prefectural county of Xishuangbanna and have dense tropical jungle environments with tea grown at high altitudes. Much of the land is heavily forested, unyielding mountainous terrain with altitudes ranging from 500m to 2000m. Usually the ancient tea gardens average at around 1200m above the sea level. There are a lot of towns in the Bulang Mountains that each have very unique Pu-erh teas to offer. These big names including Laobanzhang, Laoman’e and Mannuo all come from Bulang Mountains.
The tea leaves of this tea cake were harvested in the year of 2019 and then they were delicately processed into a tea cake until 2023. After 4 years natural aging in the professional dry warehouse, this Bulang tea cake offers the classic flavors of a well-fermented ripe Pu-erh. If you are looking for a dark and full-bodied ripe Pu-er tea, this cake will surprise you!
