Parents drink Ying Hong No. 9 as their staple go-to tea in the house, but they've run out and couldn't find any stock to replenish. While this Dian Hong is not the same (no two teas are alike), it fits their taste profiles and they appreciate the high quality and smoothness of this red tea. Mom appreciates the pagoda opening up as a flower with brewing, while the dad breaks it up to pieces like a gremlin as he prefers to control his tea leaf amounts... if you have a person like that in your life, the loose leaf Dian Hong can be considered, but honestly, they can just deal with the pagoda and adjust accordingly. You can always rip up pagoda but you can't pagoda your loose leaf. The pagoda option of Dian Hong also just makes it more gift-worthy, so you can't go wrong with it!
